We had all our dinning room chairs upholstered by Mahmood Upholstery. We had it done 6 years ago I am pleased to day that the chairs are still in perfect condition. Well done Mahmood Upholstery.
Absolute Rubbish
I paid alot of money for very poor work. I can sum Mahmood Upholstery up in one word. Cowboy.
Terrible.
We are commercial customers and my partner hired Mahmood Upholstery some time ago to redo all the seating in our establishment. I agree with other reviews that it looked great for the first few weeks but it simply does not last. Stitching comes away and seats start to sag in no time at all. Our previous upholstery from a different and more reputable upholsterer lasted years. We gave Mahmood a lot of money for something that was very substandard. I have done some research on Mahmood Upholstery Ltd and I am pretty sure he makes a lot of money. We gave him thousands just for our work (and all in cash). But his accounts (which are publically available) do not reflect this. His accounts show very little money being made. Inland Revenue take note.
Very Poor. Do Not Use.
My father in law got sofas reupholstered from Mahmood Upholstery Ltd. Ilford. He was told of the great quality of materials and work and all the guarantees that go with it. Bewarned, Mahmood talks like he is going to give you the world. Sofas were great for about 2 months but then the material started to gather up and the stitching started coming away. The sofas are also sagging on each seat. Mahmood also lied about not making money from the materials he uses. He does. We checked. Trust me, spend abit more and buy from a recognized seller. Rubbish materials, bad workmanship.
